Kale, Wild Garden

The kale seedbank here at the farm is allowed to mix and cross and express all the wondrous possibilities of this nutritious green. Over the years eccentric seed collectors have gifted us little bags of genetics from Siberia, eastern Europe and the wilds of Oregon. Each year we let plants go to seed and keep these genetic stories alive. Deep green, purple tinge, deeply serrated, broad and flat, sweet, vegetal.
