Producer

We are a small but growing waterfowl farm.

Our birds are housed at night and free range (on our 9 acre property) during the day. Our flock's diet consists of natural foraging, and organic layer pellets, home grown mealworms, organic corn, and organic peas. They actively manage bugs, pests, and weeds in our home garden. We are growing our flock with a focus on duck breeds that are on the Livestock Conservancy's Conservation Priority List. Breeds we currently work with (from the conservation priority list) include the Silver Appleyard (watch), Magpie (threatened), Saxony (threatened), Swedish (watch), and Runner (recovering).
